  When Elders Take Congregation Funds

  health care/vehicle/ etc..... usaully there is no great discussion involved, the service department sets a quota and the elders' rubber stamp it.

  they then form this.

  into a "resolution" for the general congregation which they present at the service meeting.

  there were only 3 elders who voted against the resolution

  That's good to know, that 3 elders objected to diverting local funds to the www (borg). Likely there were 3 more afraid to say anything.

  I met my husband at a Halloween party 9 yrs. ago, dressed up as a can-can girl, with fish nets, a blk spaghetti strap dress, and a blk feather boa. It was cold that night so I wore a coat over it and kept covered. He was there as...get this....Bill Clinton! It was one of those rubber masks that fits over the head, and he had a suit on. When we were introduced he had the mask on and a cigar (yuck!) in his hand. I said hi politely and then got outta there! LOL He made 1st runner-up in the costume contest.

  I found out later, after he took the mask off, that he wasn't a Clintonite, AT ALL. What a relief.....

  Linda, that's so nice that he would *invite* you. Surely, you'll be <sigh> too busy to go (shucks!). You and your girlfriend can't miss an outing afterall.

  As for a gift, a fancy container of mixed nuts (like from Plow and Hearth) is an indirect way of showing how you really feel. (yeah, I've done it! LOL)

  Me and my ex were always on *good terms*. I gave him a fruit cake one year for xmas, he knew I didn't really celebrate xmas. But seriously, other than some passive aggressive behavior we got along really well and our son benefited greatly from it. Bless you, b/c you have the added dysfunction of witlessness to deal with. Hope that helps.

  the awake magazines are down to once a month.

  the new releases are now down to one book.. there are several "special campaigns" of offering leaflets- invitations to the memorial or dc and kingdom news.. here are some of the additional possible cost-saving measures.

  it has long been the policy that serious discussions of sexual issues are an essential part of our recovery from being involved with the jws.

  as jws normal healthy sexuality was taboo.

  the gb states they have every right to know what goes on in the marital bed and anything else if forbidden.

  I want to thank you Lady Lee and all the forum assistants for keeping this a safe place for us, a lot of good happens here b/c of your efforts, and it is very much appreciated.

  I was on last Sun. during the apparent manic episode of a troll, where porn images started appearing everywhere, but they were removed very quickly and all went back to normal after us real members regrouped.
